President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko gave the Russian leader Vladimir Putin four bags of potatoes and bacon. This told the press Secretary of the Belarusian President Natalia Eismont.
According to her, the gift was brought “on special order” because before this Lukashenko “in a semi-joke” Putin was asked what he’d like to get him and Belarus. “And the answer sounded like this: “Well, what else can you ask from Belarus? The potatoes and bacon“. Well, for us not rust. We brought four bags of potatoes”, — quotes RT words Eismont. Fat, in her words, Lukashenko gave the Russian leader during his last visit. In each bag of potatoes — different varieties. Some, as noted by the press Secretary of the President, designed for frying, some for mashing, hash Browns and for baking.
