The decision of the Stockholm arbitration fundamentally changes the formula of gas prices.
In case of resumption of cooperation with “Gazprom” Russian gas for Ukraine will be the cheapest. Its price will be lower than that now “Naftogaz” is paying European companies.
This was stated by the head of Board NAK “Naftogaz of Ukraine” Andrey Kobelev, reports channel 5.
KOBOLEV explained that the decision of the Stockholm arbitration fundamentally changes the formula of gas prices. But to talk about the final figures nor neither the Russian nor the Ukrainian side are unable to the announcement of the final decision of the Tribunal.
“The formula changed. It will have now not only less than the price which requires of us “Gazprom”. But it is less than the price which Ukraine pays for the gas that we buy from European destinations. That is, of all the possible prices of gas on the Ukrainian market, and the formula which we have received, is now the most with less.”, – said the head of “Naftogaz”.
