70 years ago began the phase of large-scale production of the first postwar Soviet car GAZ M-20 “Victory”. Over the next decade the car was released many thousands of copies. It is distinguished by advanced design, ahead of many cars. The car was in high demand sold well abroad. In 1958, the conveyor is stopped, and the individual instances of long traveled the roads of the country.
From Kyiv Ihor’ve always liked the style of “Victories”, but not the comfort and dynamics of the 70-year-old. And he decided to create his own version of the famous car, modernize it, while maintaining recognizable features in a new guise.
The basis of the car was a sedan, Toyota Mark II, which took most of the bodywork, suspension, 2.5-liter 6-cylinder engine rated at 200 HP and automatic transmission. And the middle part of the car, the roof and glass borrowed from sports cars Mazda RX-8.
The main difficulty of creating a “Victory”coupe was the manufacturer of unique metal body in a single instance. It is made by hand. From this “Victory” GAS MARK “Victory-II RX-8” set back glass and part of the body in the headlights.
