UN Secretary-General, antónio Guterres, on Sunday, July 9, will visit Ukraine on a visit at the invitation of President Petro Poroshenko.
The parties intend to discuss the state and prospects of further cooperation in the framework of the UN, the possibility of more active involvement of the Toolkit for a peaceful settlement of the situation in the Donbass and the implementation of the decisions of the UN General Assembly on Crimea.
In addition to Poroshenko, UN Secretary-General will also hold meetings with other senior officials of the country, in particular, with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman.
The UN representative office in Ukraine noted that the Secretary General will arrive in Kiev from Hamburg, Germany, after participating in a two-day G20 summit.
