Irkutsk businessmen came to the rally because of non-payment of compensation for flooding

In Tulun of the Irkutsk region on Thursday, about 250 entrepreneurs gathered for a rally demanding the payment of the promised compensation for the damage from the summer floods. This was reported IA “Irsiti” one of the organizers.

The protesters came with placards: “We need the support of the authorities”, “While you think, we die”, “We need real damages”, “Tulun — a cemetery of small business”.

Entrepreneurs from the stage shared their problems in relation to caused by flood damage. They also noted that the city empties, and leave it above all hard working people.

The participants were told that the government promised subsidies to 200 thousand rubles bureaucratic. “In order to get them, you must first win in the competition. And you can spend it only repair the affected areas that are outside the boundaries of the zone floods,” said one of the entrepreneurs. The protesters adopted a resolution demanding damages for flood-damaged buildings in square meters, the establishment of the Commission for the assessment of damages from floods, etc.

According to official data of the regional authorities, the damage to 400 entrepreneurs in the region from flooding is estimated at 1.6 billion rubles. More than 200 victims — businessmen from Tulun and Tulunsky area.
