In the first three months of this year the growth of prices for bread are higher than for all of last year.
Bread prices in Ukraine from January to March of 2017 exceeded the critical indicators of last year.
As the Director of the Economic discussion club Oleg Pendzin, starting from the end of 2016 the growth of prices for bread is quite substantial.
According to him, he was already much higher than the maximum rate for the year 2016.
In the first three months of this year the growth of prices for bread are higher than for all of last year. Moreover, we are talking primarily about social varieties of bread.
He also noted that the increase in the price of bread is very seriously. According to him, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine needs to draw to this situation attention, especially now that the deregulation of prices for socially important food products.
“Based on their declarations, the government almost has no influence on the situation on the bread market. It is really threatening, we call on the government to take this seriously”, — he concluded.
