According to the Association “Svinarov Ukraine”, at the moment a kilo of pork costs about 44,3 hryvnia. In retail pig meat, depending on kind, sell at a price of 90-140 hryvnia per kilogram. And fat in retail markets offer 78 hryvnia for one kilogram.
Ukrainian meat processors complain about the lack of pig slaughter conditions. Because of the shortage they are unable to consistently generate party.
