The continued operation of the Department was considered unnecessary.
The Cabinet of Ministers adopted the decision on liquidation of the State sanitary-epidemiological service, this is stated in the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of 29 March No. 348.
The government in pursuance of the resolution of the Kyiv appeal administrative court from February 8, 2016 reversed the decision on the reorganization of the State sanitary and epidemiological service by joining the State service on safety of foodstuffs and consumer protection.
“Nevertheless, the continued functioning of the state sanitary and epidemiological service is impractical because today the performance of its functions provide the Ministry of health, Gastrula and Derepressible”, – stated in the decree.
Therefore, the government adopted a decision about liquidation of the state sanitary and epidemiological service and of the corresponding liquidation Committee.
