Manufacturer of navigators TomTom has expanded the coverage of its online service to Ukraine.
Dutch company TomTom NV, which produces navigation software, announced the expansion of the coverage of its service for navigation TomTom Traffic to Ukraine.
This was announced by the company.
In addition, the TomTom comes to Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Croatia and Romania, as well as in Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Israel.
“The further geographical expansion of TomTom Traffic in Eastern Europe and the middle East will help drivers, businesses and governments to improve the management of traffic flow, improving road safety and reducing the impact traffic congestion has on the environment,” – quoted by Interfax-Ukraine the words of the Vice President for business development and business operations TomTom Andreas Berlin.
It is noted that thus, the scope of service has expanded to 64 countries.
TomTom Traffic provides the latest information on road conditions such as traffic jams, roadworks and accidents. This information can be used by drivers to find the optimal route and avoid congestion, as well as cities and road authorities for monitoring, analysis and impact on traffic.
