The only working boiler at Myronivska TPP of Donetsk oblast stopped due to technical problems. Stop supply heat to the heating system of the town of Myronivsky, reports the Island with reference to the Department of corporate communications DTEK.
“Power station ceased production of electricity and, most importantly, heat for the village of Myronivsky. Now energy doing urgent work to connect a backup boiler”, – stated in the message.
For reliable operation at Myronivska TPP in winter requires simultaneous operation of at least two separate boilers. In case of an emergency situation on one, the second boiler could keep the station.
It is also noted that at Myronivska TPP it is possible to use boilers with different fuel – anthracite coal and gas brands. However, due to the blocking of the supply of anthracite coal from Donbas mines, the managers of DTEK Mironovskaya TPP made the decision to disable the boiler operating on anthracite, because it was only 10 thousand tons.
