In custody are nine people, 18 – are on bail.
In the case of forming a criminal organization from among senior officials of the Ministry of income and fees Alexander Klimenko (the so-called case of “tax sites”) on suspicion in Commission of crimes declared 46 persons. This was announced by Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko on his page in Facebook on Friday, July 28.
“Intermediate results (of the investigation of the Affairs of the organization Klimenko – ed.) the suspicion is declared 46 persons, among them – the heads of regional tax, and the ex-Minister of incomes and fees Klymenko. In custody are nine individuals, and another 18 are under Deposit for a total amount of 59 million UAH”, – said Lutsenko.
According to him, during the investigation, military prosecutors of the Prosecutor General participated in the review 258 petitions in the courts on the measures of providing of criminal proceedings.
“Most of them (163) concerned the seizure of property of suspects. All the requests are satisfied… property of the suspects arrested in the amount of 900 million UAH. The amount of seized property Klimenko and its affiliated companies reaches 6 billion UAH”, – said the Prosecutor General.
Lutsenko also said that the investigation continues.
