Among the missing are citizens of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, according to local residents, the missing climbers.
Two hundred residents of the village of Bondo, Switzerland, was evacuated in a landslide Wednesday, August 23.
Small mountain village located in the Swiss Canton of graubünden close to the border with Italy. The stones rolled down to the foot near the village. On the way they destroyed outbuildings. The time of the landslide was recorded by video camera.
Police reported eight missing. It is the citizens of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. According to local residents, there is a missing climbers.
Two hundred villagers were evacuated on Wednesday. On Thursday they are not allowed to return home, as possible new missions.
According to Swissinfo, the approach of disaster in the village reported automatic alarm. It was established in 2012 and once in December 2011 descended powerful landslide – 1.5 million cubic meters of rock.
