On the shore of lake Baikal in the Irkutsk region after falling off a cliff and died 60-year-old tourist from England.
According to preliminary information, two tourists from Britain have traveled to China via Russia. To Baikal tourists arrived on August 11. One of them tore off a cliff while they were Hiking trail.
56-year-old tourist was trying to help his friend, but couldn’t even contact the emergency services, because the region has no mobile phone coverage. The man was able only to warn other tourists that were around.
At the time of arrival of rescuers the fallen tourist was already dead. In fact, the tragic incident check is conducted.
