It is assumed that the sanctions policy will soften in the near future.
Russia’s permanent representative to the EU Vladimir Chizhov said that in Europe the conditions are ripe for easing against Moscow, including on the issue of sanctions.
Advising statement Chizhov made in an interview with the newspaper “Izvestia”.
According to him, at the end of June, EU may discuss one of three packages of anti-Russian sanctions, which concerns economic measures.
“It is noticeable that the situation is ripening for the change of course of the EU towards Russia in General and on this issue in particular. There’s a lot of evidence, but when a critical mass of political will is reached, it is hard to say”, – summed up Chizhov.
