The couple were already divorced but lived together.
The inhabitant of the Ryazan region suspected of killing ex-wife and three children, reported on the website of the regional Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
Bodies were found in April in one of the apartments in the village of Iskra. The place was arrested the former husband of the murdered woman.
According to the investigation, after divorce the former spouses continued to live together with three young children. The man was a drunk and jealous ex-wife, which as found out a consequence, in the house there were quarrels.
“After another quarrel on the evening of 2 April, a man with a knife struck ex-wife multiple times. From the got injuries the woman died at the scene. He then in turn began to strike blows with a knife children”, — stated in the message.
Psychological and psychiatric examination showed that the man suffers from a mental disorder, murder he committed in a state of insanity. Criminal case is directed to court for decision of a question on compulsory treatment.
As noted by RIA Novosti, two of the children killed, the man took out pieces of the internal organs.
