The Germans will consider the ability to create multiple electrical models on the basis of the supercar Mission E.
The leadership of Porsche is considering increasing the number of fully electric models after 2020. This is with reference to the Executive Director of the German mark Oliver the Blum reports Automotive News.
The first production electric car by Porsche, currently known under the designation E Mission, should appear in 2019. According to Blum, subsequently its platform and powertrains can be used on other vehicles.
According to preliminary data, the commodity version of the Porsche Mission E will be equipped with two electrical units (one on the front and rear axles) with a total capacity of about 600 horsepower. Electric car can accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds. The reserve will be about 500 km, and replenish the battery capacity of 80% will be for 15 minutes.
The idea of increasing the number of models with zero emissions is largely due to increasingly stringent environmental standards in China, where Porsche sells the most cars. In addition, German companies are planning to increase the number of models with hybrid power plants, which will join the appropriate version of the Cayenne crossover and Panamera liftback.
