Climatologists record a record a few days in a row.
In the Central geophysical Observatory talked about the new temperature records that have been recorded in Kiev over the past three days. According tsgo, April 1 in the capital observed the warmest night since 1881.
“The thermometer did not fall below +10,0°C, 2.0°C above the previous historical significance of 1975”, as reported in the Observatory.
April 2 was also marked by record. The temperature this afternoon rose to +23,1°C, 1.1°C above the previous maximum in 1990. In addition, the average temperature for April 2, was +14°C, equalling the record of 1990.
“On 3 April in Kiev, recorded the warmest night for 137 years of observation. The temperature has dropped below +11,9°C which is 0.3°C higher than it was in 1990,” – said in the Central geophysical Observatory.
By the way, last March was also 5.5 °C warmer than the climatic norm. The average temperature was + 6.2°C. “March was the fourth among the warmest in the capital over 137 years of follow-up,” say climate scientists. The warmest was 22 March when the maximum temperature reached + 18,0°C. the coldest day was March 4 – the minimum temperature dropped to -1,0°C.
