Wednesday, March 1, in Kiev for the first time in 137 years, the temperature reached +12.4 deg.
About this on his Facebook page posted by forecaster Natalia Didenko.
“As said Central geophysical Observatory in Kiev today for the first time in 137 years, the temperature reached +12.4 degrees, thus breaking 0.8 degrees the previous maximum temperature value for that day in 1989,” wrote forecaster.
In Western Ukraine the first day of spring was marked by rain, and in the Carpathian mountains – with sleet.
However, as said Didenko, on March 2-3, a little colder, but on the weekend the warm weather will return.
“Rain from the West tomorrow will advance to the North and in the center. Tomorrow in Kiev will also increase cloudiness, the rain and cold to +7+9 degrees. But here on a weekend again will become warmer,” wrote forecaster.
