In the city of Kharkiv, two new streets.
Some streets and alleys in the Industrial area of Kharkiv named.
This decision was taken today, February 22, at the session of Kharkiv city Council.
The street from the Annular passage along the Thorny ravine in the South-East direction, which had no name, gave the name “St. Thorns Yar”.
The street from the newly named St. Thorns ravine in a southerly direction called St. slizistogo.
First South unnamed street from the new St. slizistogo to the East called “1-y pereulok slizistogo”.
The second unnamed lane South of St. slizistogo to the East – “2-y pereulok slizistogo”.
With a request to name one of the streets in honor of Ukrainian poet Vladimir slizistogo the city Council asked the representatives of the National Union of writers of Ukraine and all-Ukrainian society “Prosvita” named after Taras Shevchenko.
