Merkel believe that the decision will further alienate the Donbass.
The representative of the German Chancellor Angela Merkel Steffen Siebert said that his country did not support the decision of the Council of national security and defense of Ukraine on the termination of transportation from the occupied territories of Donbass.
“Nationalization in the uncontrolled territories, the recognition of this complicates an already difficult situation. Not implemented the peace agreement. Neither from Moscow, nor Kiev. We are concerned by the decision of the Council about stopping the connections, I think this further separates the Donbass” – quoted Siebert Gromadske.
Also, the speaker Merkel added that the violent actions these days “is the last thing Ukraine needs now.”
