Andriy Sadovyi has decided to use Facebook to appeal to the Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, because he is not responding to official letters regarding environmental threats in Lviv.
Lviv mayor Andriy Sadovy wrote their 6 demands to the Prime Minister and other state leaders about the situation with the garbage problem in Lviv:
1. Stop creating artificial barriers for removal of solid waste from the city on alternative grounds (criminal cases, threats, and instant mass testing even the owners of private landfills, which have agreed to work with the city.) In the official answers we have to refuse to accept any, even the smallest, quantity of solid waste. It has hundreds of such replies. In the informal we just say: “Banned”. The owner of landfill in Pokrovsk generally publicly stated threats to the family. What is the reaction of the police was then ?!
2. To instruct the head of the LOG to stop blocking the sorting and briquetting line in the industrial zone “Ryasne-2” through controlled them “public”. The start line will reduce the volume of garbage from the city in 6 (!) time. You take pride in the winery near the site there is the sorting line? We have the run of the bale line (much more modern) block. On whose authority I do not know. I do not supervise neither the SBU, the police.
3. To expedite the process of granting the loan from the European investment Bank for the project to address the problem of solid waste in Lviv. The first agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers and the EIB was signed almost 2 (!) years ago, long before the arson at the site in Hrybovychi, and then permanently stuck in the Ministerial corridors. Lviv was one of the initiators of this agreement, which in the end joined by many other Ukrainian cities. When the trouble occurred, we expected that traditional Ukrainian bureaucracy at least this time it will work quickly, given the extraordinary situation.
4. To highlight the actual area within the region for a new garbage processing complex. Your previous and only for today offer – the territory of the former factory “Yavoriv sulfur” – was rejected by the expert Commission headed by academician Yukhnovsky and local authorities. The City Of Lviv 26 (!) years refers such a request to the regional state authorities. I do not have the authority to dispose of land outside of the city! When I talk about mythical investors that they wanted to build for the city, then I ask – they had to build? And any other Ukrainian city they’ve built?
5. To stop listening to your political advisers that you talk about “ratings Garden”. In this situation, will not win one! You play the life and health of real people, not the bars in the charts ratings. Managed you system has enough tools to fight with me and you are actively using. Don’t touch people!
6. To terminate criminal proceedings in respect of Dutch investors. It is a well-known company CTP, which intends to build a modern industrial Park in the “Lviv-2”. The case has no direct relationship to the subject of solid waste, but this shameful situation, it is a direct signal to all foreign investors in Ukraine and the prosecutors determine whom to work and earn, and who does not.
Also Andriy Sadovy said that does not preclude his guilt and explained that it consists in the fact that he was making other priorities.
“In 2006 I came to the city where there was no water, normal heat supply, roads, transport, etc. these were my priorities, like Lvov and this is confirmed in the elections of 2006, 2010 and 2015 years”, – wrote the mayor of the city.
