The city declared the plan Interception.
Poltava regional police searched 35-year-old Dmitry Marchenko, who escaped from the penal colony Kriukov, Poltava region.
As the press service of the police of Poltava region, Marchenko was serving a sentence for cumulative offences, provided by articles 187 (robbery) and 289 (illegal taking vehicle) and article 15 article 393 (attempt to escape from the place of imprisonment) of the Criminal code of Ukraine.
At present, introduced the plan “Interception”. The police carries out operational-search measures to establish the place of shelter of the convicted person.
However, the local edition of “Poltava” reports that Marchenko is the former captain of the SBU and escapes from prison is not the first time.
He was born in Feodosia. In October 2010 he was convicted of the Kirov district court of the ARC to 10 years imprisonment. Almost immediately he escaped from prison, and was again arrested. After the second conviction in June 2011, was serving a sentence in MENA colony, Chernihiv region.
From the register of court decisions we know that in October of 2016 he’s a transfer from Maine’s Kryukov in the colony for lighter conditions and with minimal protection.
As writes the edition, Marchenko in courts of various levels advocated the right to stay in the colony with the same level of protection.
