Firefighters managed to localize the fire about half an hour later.
At least five people were killed in a fire in a residential building in American new York, the victims are three children.
The associated Press reports many of the victims. Eyewitnesses say that they heard loud bangs before Sunday afternoon, the flames had engulfed the two-storey house.
In addition, fire was thrown on one of the neighboring houses, the newspaper said.
