Oles Dovgy himself asks to remove his immunity.
Independent Oles Dovgy called the procedural Committee of the Verkhovna Rada to support the submission of the Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko about the lifting of his parliamentary immunity.
He stated this during a meeting of the Committee of Parliament, which deals with the proposal of the General Prosecutor Yuriy Lutsenko on the granting of the consent of the Verkhovna Rada to attract Dovgy to criminal liability, reports Interfax-Ukraine.
“I appeal to you: support performance and give me the opportunity to once and for all put an end to these speculations in court,” – said Dovgy.
Earlier the public Prosecutor Lutsenko said that the Prosecutor General’s office has enough evidence to declare suspicion of the people’s Deputy Oles Dovgy.
