In horror movies there are actors icons, Directors-icons-and – objects-icons. Like Freddy’s glove or Jason mask. In reality, however, the box shots were created by artist Simon says (Simon Sayce). And it is with sadness we inform you that this talented man died.
The news appeared on the official Facebook page of the artist that his friends decided to keep as a kind of monument to Simon. Says, like many before him, lost his battle with cancer. The artist was ill in recent years, he was getting worse and worse. He died quietly, and, according to close friends, this was the case when the mind is still ready to fight, but the body said “no more”.
Simon Says fans of horror films can also thank for the design of the mask killer is played by David Cronenberg in the film, Barker’s “Nightbreed” and by the character of Peloquin of the same picture.
