Kievgas disabled 40 boiler rooms in nine districts of the capital.
As of today PJSC “kyivgas” has stopped gas supplies to the boiler 40, which are in the management of PJSC “Kyivenergo”.
This is stated on the website “Kyivenergo”.
“These boiler-houses provide during non-heating season hot water for about 225 sites, including 189 homes, 11 preschools and schools, 2 medical institutions, 23 departmental buildings in Podolsk, Desnyanskiy, Darnytskyi, Solomenskyi, Shevchenko, Obolonskiy, Goloseevsky, Kiev and Pechersk districts of the capital”, – stated in the message.

Termination of supply, as stated in the message PJSC “kyivgaz”, due to the debt of PJSC “Kyivenergo” to PJSC “kyivgas” for services of gas transportation. According to preliminary data, as of may 1, 2017, it amounts to 199,2 million UAH.
“The main reason of growth of debts for gas is the increase of debts of consumers for thermal energy, services of centralized heating and hot water. As at 1 April debt capital for heating amounted to almost 5 billion UAH. The share of the state debt exceeded $ 1.4 billion, 1.2 billion is uncompensated benefits and subsidies in the heating. At the same time, the debt of PJSC “Kyivenergo” for gas during the heating season increased by 3.1 billion and on 1 April amounted to 4.5 billion UAH”, – stated in the message.
It is noted that the accumulation of debts of thermal power plants in Ukraine and unsynchronized due to imperfect legislative regulation of the industry. Funds received thermal power companies for the consumed heat energy, heating or hot water, according to NKREKU algorithm automatically razdelyayutsya and act on special accounts, from where they are distributed to pay for gas and transportation. Because of the cost of 1 Gcal of heat the gas component is almost 80%, the enterprises Teplokommunenergo accumulate debts to other suppliers and are deprived of the opportunity to conduct full business operations.
