The American company will no longer support Adobe Flash Player.

This was reported in the company blog, reports the republic. As stated by Adobe, Flash Player is becoming less popular after the emergence of HTML5, WebGL and WebAssembly.
“Around Flash created entire industries – games, education and video. We will continue to support Flash before the end of 2020 to give all users and companies to switch to other technologies,” the company explained.
This proposal was supported by partners Adobe, including Apple, Facebook, Google, Microsoft and Mozilla.
As noted by the representatives of Microsoft, the company will cease to include in their products Flash Player by default until 2019, and by 2020 will remove it from all supported versions of Windows.
Google stressed that refused to automatically run Flash content in Google Chrome at the end of 2016, as the share of users visiting require the installation of Flash Player page, fell sharply and now stands at 17%. Now, the company will gradually completely abandon Flash Player.
