The so-called “interior Minister” issued an in absentia verdict.
A guilty verdict of the so-called “interior Minister” DNR Alexei Wild, the press service of the Prosecutor of Donetsk region.
“On Tuesday, June 6, a panel of judges Dzerzhinsky city court of Donetsk region issued a guilty verdict to the former Deputy head of Department – the chief of Department on struggle against human trafficking of the office for combating crimes connected with human trafficking of gumvd of Ukraine in Donetsk region Wild AA”, – stated in the message.
During the court hearing established that in may-June 2014 Alex Wild, violating the oath of the employee of bodies of internal Affairs of Ukraine, together with representatives of the DNR participated in the seizure of the administrative building of the Department in the Donetsk region, in the city of Donetsk.
“Staying temporarily in the territory controlled by the rebels, a police officer, a traitor directly became a member of the DNR terrorist organization. So, in 2014, a former policeman was appointed first Deputy Minister of internal Affairs “DNR”. And in early 2015, after assignment of a rank “hero of the DPR”, Alex Wild took a post called “Minister of internal Affairs of the terrorist organization “DNR”, – is spoken in the message.
Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings against former Ukrainian police officer was conducted by the investigators of the Prosecutor’s office of Donetsk region. Because the convict is on the temporarily uncontrolled by the Ukrainian authorities of the territory, he was tried in absentia.
The court, supporting the position of the prosecution – the Prosecutor’s office of Donetsk region, acknowledged Wild guilty of a criminal offense under part 1 article 258-3 (participation in a terrorist organization) the criminal code of Ukraine and sentenced in absentia to 12 years in prison.
