The third racket of Ukraine Sergiy Stakhovsky won a seventh career victory in the matches of the main draw of Wimbledon.
The first opponent Stakhovsky in London was a French veteran Julien benneteau. In personal meetings the Ukrainian was leading with the score 2:1, but on the grass the players to date do not overlap.
Benneteau took the first break, but Stakhovsky instantly returned his serve in the eighth game again noted at the reception and easily completed the game in their favor.
In the second set, the situation repeated itself – again, benneteau held a successful game at the reception, but immediately allowed Stakhovsky to get back in the game. This time from Kiev on the fourth attempt he won the tiebreak and was one step away from next round.
The third set Stakhovsky failed, but no chance to build on their success from benneteau was not. In the following of the party Sergei brilliantly held his serve, and at a reception organized two breaks.
