The most creepy places that you can find in Ukraine.
Ukraine is one of the largest in Europe, which holds many ancient secrets and mysterious stories. Some locations from the Soviet era, as well as ancient castles, evoke a sense of true fear, attracting thrill-seekers. What places in Ukraine avoided to visit local residents, but welcomes tourists-thrill-seekers from around the world – later in the review.
1. The Chernobyl exclusion zone and Pripyat (Kiev region)
The accident at the Chernobyl nuclear plant on 26 April 1986 dramatically changed the lives of millions of Soviet people, and the fate of the surrounding villages.
Shortly before the disaster the city of Pripyat was inhabited by 47 thousand people, now nobody lives here. After the accident people were evacuated, and urban neighborhoods fell into ruin, overgrown by trees and destroyed. Photos from Pripyat was seen by many, and this place is deservedly considered the most terrible in Ukraine. 2. Bugaysky triangle (Sumy region)
Near the village of Malaya Bugica Sumy region is anomalous zone, where for many years, there are unusual phenomenon. 3. Town hall (Lviv)
About 400 years ago in the city hall of Lviv began to appear a Ghost. It occurred at midnight and looked like a black coffin, with terrible cries flying through the corridors. Security and residents of nearby homes, hearing the horrible sounds that were baptized.
One of lavnikov (judges in criminal cases) managed to unravel the mystery of the phenomenon. It turns out that the Board lavnikov were predestined to death an innocent man. Later found the real culprit, but too late: the unfortunate convict has already been executed.

4. Psychoneurological hospital Vinnitsa (Vinnica)
The psychiatric hospital at all times was infamous. The image of the “yellow houses” in which to contain and tortured people, emerged in many cities. In Vinnytsia is one of these establishments, where patients have long been treated not the most humane methods: put leeches did bloodletting, tied straps and even dressed in shackles. In Soviet times, the hospital got people inconvenient to the regime which often experimented with the use of psychoactive substances – the so-called punitive medicine.
5. A haunted house (Ternopil)
In the private sector of the neighborhood of Druzhba Ternopil is a house that locals bypass the tenth road. Grim three-storey building of red brick, thickly entwined with vines, has been causing speculation and stories. People say that the house was built on the site of the cemetery, and during construction it has got evil spirits. When no one was there, heard the howling and screaming, flashing light. The owners left their home, because the furniture and objects literally flying around the house. Today, many years later, the building is again habitable. The woman, who settled there are said to be “able to negotiate with spirits.”
6. Green theatre (Kiev)
In the Park Askold’s grave in Kiev for many years is an abandoned Green house. This place reminds me of a military bunker with underground tunnels, as it was built on the site of the Kiev fortress from the times of Imperial Russia. The area is considered the communication center of ancient Kiev since the XII century. Local diggers believe that the tunnels and catacombs are placed here for 9 levels deep underground.
Thanks to the Metropolitan press, theatre under the sky has gained notoriety. In Soviet times there was a cemetery for the early deaths of children and suicides, and criminals in the forest leaving the bodies of their victims.
7. Hitler’s headquarters “Werwolf” (Vinnytsia region)
During the great Patriotic war on the territory of Vinnytsia region, for Adolf Hitler had built a fortified complex, which included the construction of 81 and a few bunkers. They built 4086 Soviet prisoners of war who were then shot. German engineers directed the construction, also killed: their plane exploded in the air.
The head of Nazi Germany was here three times to address issues of military strategy and historians are still puzzled over why Adolf Hitler chose this place. Mages, psychics and astrologers say that here, eight kilometers from Vinnitsa, is the energy centre of Europe, in which, the Fuhrer set out to build the Third Reich. Scientists and geologists say that because of the peculiarities of the area near Werewolf level radiation sometimes exceeded five hundred times.
With the approach of Soviet troops, the Germans blew up the complex, and now it is not possible to know what lay at the lower levels of concrete bunkers. Studies conducted in the Soviet Union, still lie in the secret archives.
