Summing up another week of the regular season for the hundredth season in NHL history.
In the West a week before the end of the regular season decided all participants of the playoffs. Known ahead of time and the champion of the conference – “Chicago” used the issues of “Minnesota” and “San Jose” and became inaccessible to persecutors.
At the finish of the 82-game marathon, “Anaheim”, “Edmonton” and “San Jose” will compete for a place in the top 3 of the conference, a chance to improve their position and keep the other players in the top 8.
Western conference:
In the East it is unlikely that it would prevent “Washington” to become the winner of the regular championship – “capitals” five points away from “Columbus” and “Chicago.” “Pittsburgh” and “Columbus” are firmly in the top 3 of the conference.
In the playoffs the last games of the regular season with “Boston”, “Toronto” and “Ottawa” fighting lead “Tampa Bay”, “islanders” and “Carolina”.
