The U.S. Congress is planning to impose new sanctions against Russia to encourage Putin to make concessions in the Ukrainian question.

The administration of us President Donald trump has decided to reconsider its decisions on the situation in Ukraine and actively participate in the decision of the Ukrainian question. U.S. authorities plan to implement the idea of the Secretary of state’s Rex Tillerson about restarting peace talks with Russia and in parallel to extend restrictions against the Kremlin.
According to the Administration trump, it will open up new perspectives and lead to better results in solving the conflict in the East of Ukraine.
As reported, Tillerson discussed further actions in Ukraine with foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. He suggested involving the Vice-President of the USA Michael Pence to settle the situation in Ukraine.
The Secretary of state also plans to appoint a special envoy from the state Department for managing new efforts in Ukraine, which, in particular, will interact with the Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov.
