On charges of committing war crimes in the Donbass sentenced 28 citizens of Russia. This at a press conference said the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko.
“In Ukraine, our national courts prosecuted already 41 people, including 28 citizens of the Russian Federation, citizens of the 13 members of the terrorist organizations DNR and LNR. The most senior suspects of war crimes – 20 Russian high-ranking officials,” – said Lutsenko.
He recalled that the accused of war crimes, the Russian presidential adviser Sergei Glazyev, Russian President’s representative in the “Crimean Federal district” Oleg Belaventsev, the Russian defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, his Deputy Dmitry Bulgakov, Nikolai Pankov, chief of the General staff, first Deputy defense Minister Valery Gerasimov, 12 officers of the armed forces.
