OSCE urges parties to withdraw heavy weapons in the Donbass.
In the Donbas over the past 24 hours observers Special monitoring mission of the OSCE recorded more than 800 bombings, 81 of them were caused by mortar fire. This was stated today by the first Deputy of the mission Alexander hug.
“The last 24 hours talking about serious violations of the cease. Sides must withdraw heavy weapons and complete the withdrawal forces funds,” said hug.
According to him, during last week there were only 200 explosions, half of them, according to the OSCE, is associated with the military exercises.
Last week, the majority of violations of the ceasefire, the OSCE has recorded in four hot spots: the triangle Avdeevka-Yasinovataya-Donetsk airport – 40% of the violations, East and North-East of Mariupol – 30%, triangle Popasnaya-Trinity-Pervomaisk – 15%, South-West, South, South-East of Svetlodarsk – 10%.
“For the third consecutive week the SMM, the OSCE notes the reduction in violence in the Donbass”, – said hug.
According to him, the number of violations of the ceasefire as a whole declined by about 20% last week when compared with the year before.
