The experts of the Ministry of regional development has estimated that to perform such a project for 3-5 months, and it will pay for itself in about 2-3 years. It is noted that heating a Studio apartment in an energy efficient home costs three times less than in the house of the Soviet model of development.
“Save on heat, electricity and gas after the thermal modernization of apartments will be 20-60%. For every 100 UAH. spent on utility costs, a family will save 20-60 UAH. Thus, when 1 ths. savings can be up to 600 UAH. which, if necessary, every month remitted for the payment of the loan and the energy efficiency Fund will provide assistance in the amount of 20-50% of the total cost of the project, which will reduce the burden on a responsible homeowner,” said Vice Prime Minister, regional development Minister Hennadiy Zubko.
These funds will be sufficient to use virtually interest-free Bank loan for the modernization.
