Kyiv authorities approved new rates for services in content of houses and constructions and house adjoining territories.
The corresponding order of KGGA No. 668 dated 6 June 2017 published on the official website of the Kiev authorities.
It is noted that it is accepted in connection with the appeal of the executors of services in maintenance of houses and house adjoining territories that provided estimated materials regarding the new tariffs.
The document was in the Main territorial Department of justice in Kiev on June 12.
In a note to the order of the new tariffs provided for 8 thousand 327 houses of the capital (the housing stock in Kiev in General has about 11 thousand high-rise residential buildings) that are served by 10 entities of communal property (management companies for the maintenance of the housing stock in all 10 districts of the capital).
The average tariff rate for these houses is of 6.43 UAH per 1 sq. m with VAT.
The city authorities allowed for the possibility of the population to pay for the service at preferential rates – 10% discount (the same applies today), if paid before the 20th of the month following the settlement.
The document does not specify the date of the introduction of new tariffs, at the same time, it is noted that the order comes into force from the date of its publication.
In its decision, the city authorities recognize become invalid the decree on the establishment of tariffs on services on maintenance of houses approved by April 30, 2015 No. 442.
The order notes that in its decision the authority seeks the imposition of tariffs at economic levels and the provision of services at the appropriate level.
The new rates, according to city authorities, “will help to overcome the unprofitability of providing services on maintenance of houses and house adjoining territories, to improve the quality of public services and will result in budgetary savings due to the absence of necessity in the allocation of subsidies from the budget to cover the difference in tariffs”.
Today, the average price for the maintenance of 1 square meter in the capital is from 3 to 5 UAH, depending on the management company.
