Priority in the investigation is to record the facts of armed aggression of the Russian Federation, in the first place – attacks on settlements.
The Prosecutor General’s office carries out investigation proceedings on the facts of violations by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and controlled by members of the terrorist organizations DNR and LNR laws and customs of war (part 2 of article 438 of the criminal code). About it reports a press-service GPU.
It specified that priority in the investigation is to record the facts of armed aggression of the Russian Federation, primarily – shelling of settlements, checkpoints (roadblocks) and other infrastructure on the territory of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
According to the press service, the investigative team traveled 26 times to the places of shelling of infrastructure. The relevant protocols are made inspection of the scene seized ammunition fragments.
In particular, carried out the attack on may 13 in the town, in which killed four civilians and one wounded. The group also visited the firing from heavy weapons residential buildings, two schools and a hospital, which took place on 25 and 28 may in Krasnogorovka, Donetsk region.
The GPU noted that the designated 26 expertise (forensic, explosive, the complex is judicial-military, explosive) obtained details about the attacks (the type of weapon, direction of fire, photos, videos), carried out other investigative actions.
