Now in the occupied territories of Donbass is about 6 thousand Russian soldiers and up to 40 thousand fighters.
This was stated by the representative of the General staff of the Armed forces of Ukraine Vladislav Seleznev.
“Up to 6 thousand Russian soldiers are on the temporarily occupied territory of Donbas and up to 40 thousand Russian-terrorist fighters, as well as local misfits who perform tasks as part of the first and second army corps, which is functionally subordinate to the armed forces of Russia”, – he said in an interview with Radio Liberty.
He noted that Russian military personnel do not stop to arrive in the occupied territories of Eastern Ukraine, including the management team.
“Direct military leaders, at the level of company commander and above, who perform the tasks on a “business trip” on time”, – said Seleznev.
