Beautiful and capricious, Catalonia has long been beckoning tourists to its land.
However, Barcelona is considered the most tasty tourist area. The cities has the second largest population in Spain and is recognized as an important cultural, industrial and economic center.

The Aquarium Of Barcelona
One of the most important centers for the study and preservation of underwater fauna of the Mediterranean is the Barcelona Aquarium. The exhibition consists of fourteen separate ecosystems, including:
— underwater grottoes and caves;
— sandy and rocky coast;
— coral reefs;
— seagrass and so on.

La Rambla
This is perhaps the most famous street in all of Spain. The Boulevard connects the plaça de Catalunya and the Old port, and the whole Rambla consists of five segments, each of which is anything famous. Strolling along the Boulevard, you can visit the Liceu theatre, the wax Museum, the Royal square, the Boqueria market and other attractions.
For tourists, Las Ramblas seems not only an attractive and picturesque street, but convenient: the center of the Boulevard is fully equipped for pedestrians, and pavement everywhere located of shops with sweets and Souvenirs, flower sellers and street performers. There are roadway on both sides of which adorn an ancient building (XVI-XVIII centuries).
The Gothic quarter
This place is so named not by accident, because here are concentrated the most ancient architectural sights. However, in addition to buildings XIV-XV centuries in the former the centre of Barcelona now you can see many small restaurants, modern night clubs and expensive shops.
In General, the Gothic quarter is represented by a succession of narrow lanes over which hang the enchanting beauty of the buildings. In addition to streets, there are many famous squares:

Cathedral
One of the most popular and important sights of the Gothic quarter, the Cathedral (XII-XIX century) — deserves special attention. Many buildings are familiar only from photographs, but to experience the essence of architectural design and to literally touch history should visit this place in person.
The Cathedral is a classic example of medieval Gothic architecture, but its architecture is also filled with life-affirming and pompous elements, which largely expresses the spirit of Catalonia. The eyes of the tourist, in particular, appears:
— soaring turrets, reminiscent of the spires;
— Gothic “socket” that adorn the Central entrance;
graceful columns and so on.
However, not only looks glorious Cathedral. With its dome provides a breathtaking view of the city, and inside are known worldwide thirteen white geese, and a sculpture of Christ that once adorned the flagship of the fleet of Catalonia.
Sagrada Familia
Without exaggeration, the Sagrada Familia is the hallmark of Barcelona, like the Eiffel tower in Paris. This magnificent and unusual construction gave the world the architect Gaudi and the history of architecture Spanish term construction has become the only one included in the list of UNESCO world heritage sites. — the Central tower is 170 meters high, dedicated to Christ himself.
