The developers of the Delft University of technology created the project of asphalt, which is able to recharge the battery of an electric car while he is at traffic lights. It is reported Ecotechnica.
It is noted that the new coating will serve twice as long as usual and will significantly reduce the maintenance costs of the road.
Experiments with such a coating are carried out since 2010, but when it will appear on the roads is unknown.
After its introduction, the creators of electric cars will have to switch to a new type of charging devices in cars that will require new costs and enhance the already considerable value of vehicles. So while the development of the Dutch remains a more fantastic idea than a real design.
Recall, most of the electric cars go on roads of Kiev, Odessa and Kharkiv regions. Today in Ukraine there are about 400 devices for charging of electric cars.
We will add that according to the General Director of a network of filling stations WOG Sergey Koretsky, traditional dressings need to be ready to the rapid development of the electric car market in the country.
Therefore, the company plans until the end of 2017 to increase the number of its charging stations for electric vehicles to 300.
