The Prosecutor’s office of Russia refused to check the facts from the movie “He’s not Dimon.”
Russian Prosecutor General’s office refused to check the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev about corruption at the request of the Deputy of the state Duma from the Communist party Valery Rashkin.
Rashkin appealed to the Prosecutor’s office for verification of “possible corrupt practices” of the Prime Minister after the appearance of the film-investigation of Alexei Navalny “you do not Dimon” about the luxury real estate Medvedev.
Prosecutors replied to the Deputy that it “does not apply to the powers of the prosecution”.
Rashkin has sent a request to the FSB, the Investigative Committee and the Prosecutor General. The investigative Committee has forwarded the request to the Prosecutor General and the Prosecutor General’s office returned the document to the Investigation Committee.
The FSB has outlined its response Rashkin marked “for official use only”, prohibiting to publish the document. The Deputy noted that information about the property Medvedev in the answer “a little less than zero.”
We will remind, the oppositionist Alexey Navalny published the film-investigation “you do not Dimon” on the business Empire of the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. The tape has provoked a wave of anti-corruption rallies in Russia. The court ordered Navalny to remove the film.
