The arrest of the activist is planning to appeal.
Moscow court sent under arrest for 15 days of opposition activist Mark Galperin for obstruction inconsistent with the authorities of the protest action in the centre of the Russian capital on March 26.
“Halperin to admit guilty and to appoint to it punishment in the form of administrative arrest for 15 days,” reads the judge’s ruling.
In turn, counsel for Halperin Nikolay Zboroshenko said that the arrest of the activist will be appealed.
“First submit a complaint to the higher court, then to the ECHR – as usual,” said Zboroshenko.
Halperin was arrested on 1 April near his house in Reutovo, and then taken to the police station in the Tverskoy district, where he was drawn up about disobeying the police.
As he told Halperin, directly on March 26, he was not detained.
“The police came, asked to go with them – I refused. And then me in the crowd took Tver. It is considered disobedience”, – said the activist.
