The famous American financier and billionaire George Soros gave more than $18 billion Fund of the Open Society Foundations (open society). Open Society will now dispose of the greater part of the state of Soros and will probably be the second-largest philanthropic organization after funding from the bill and Melinda gates Foundation.
The Foundation operates through a network of 40 organizations in various countries engaged in the support of refugees, health care, national minorities.
Soros, who is 87 years old, is not going to engage in commercial transactions with belonging Open Society means, say the newspaper’s sources. In the investment company Soros Fund Management, Soros now shares authority with the investment Committee of the Open Society.
