Siemens considers the agreement with “Technopromexport” so that covers another transaction – the sale of turbines in the Crimea.
The German company Siemens States that in the contract with the Russian company “Tekhnopromexport” there is a position about obligatory use turbines manufactured by a company in Taman TPP, and in addition – there is an article with the prohibition to use the turbines on the territory of Crimea.
According to these regulations, Siemens considers the agreement with “Technopromexport” so that covers another transaction – the sale of turbines in the Crimea.
Siemens emphasizes – if they from the beginning would have been aware of the true intentions of the Russian company – the transaction would not take place. On this basis, the German company asked the court to terminate the agreement by arresting and banning the turbine is mounted in the Crimea.
