Russian media published the news that the motorcade of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko was involved in an accident in Transcarpathia.
According to the Russian edition of “Broadcasting company “Zvezda” (the official mouthpiece of the defense Ministry), tuple Poroshenko allegedly knocked down a motorcyclist road in Uzhgorod, when going to the opening of the symbolic “door to Europe” on the occasion of the start of validity of a visa-free regime with the EU.

However, the police of Transcarpathia have already denied this false information. The police said that the accident occurred after the passage on that part of the President.
“The message about the accident with participation of the President of Ukraine, which allegedly occurred in Transcarpathia, completely untrue. The visit of the head of state was held without any violations of public order”, – stated in the message of the police.
“The driver of the motorcycle did not see a BMW and decided urgently to slow down, resulting in fell into a ditch. No clashes were not, especially with any of the cars of the motorcade”, – militiamen noted.
