The Ministry of defence of Poland believe that the teachings of the West-2017 can extend.
The Minister of defence of Poland, Anthony Macierewicz said that the joint Russian-Belarusian military exercises “West-2017” can be continued after September 20. According to him, during the exercises, the Russians will be worked out the use of nuclear weapons.
“They will continue, this time with nuclear weapons that has not been included in the programme of exercises”, – said the head of the defense Ministry, the TV channel TVP Info.
Also, Macierewicz reminded that the military doctrine of the Russian Federation provides for the possibility of a preemptive strike on a potential enemy.
“Exercises “West-2017″ has become not only the largest but also the most aggressive and multi-functional of all exercises in Russia over the past 30 years,” he added, Macarevich.
