Russian President Vladimir Putin was surprised by a statement on the progress of the Russian capital of Moscow in the field of digital technology.
Putin’s statement on the strategic development Board was quoted by TASS.
“Our capital Moscow is among the world leaders in the application of digital technologies in modern urban infrastructure, ahead of such metropolises as Toronto, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Barcelona and Sydney,” – said Putin.
The words of the President of Russia has caused confusion in social networks. So, a journalist of the Kremlin pool Dmitry Smirnov quoted Putin on his Twitter page and ran into a barrage of caustic remarks.
