The national Olympic Committee of Ukraine summed up the results of the second month of 2017.
Another award from the NOC, the captain of the national team of Ukraine won by a successful performance at the world Cup in Hochfilzen – women’s relay Olena Pidhrushna at the last stage, beat the formidable Gabriela Koukalova, Marie Dorin habert and Dorothea wierer and brought Ukraine silver.
Along with Pidhrushna the world Championships were Irina Varvynets, Julia Jim and Anastasiya Merkushyna. This medal was the only country on the main biathlon start of the year.
First coach Pidhrushna Oleg Rebellion and the senior trainer of the female national team of Ukraine on biathlon Uros Velepec called the best mentors Feb.
Olena Pidhrushna the seventh time recognized as athlete of the month, according to NOC. Often similar awards received only Olympic Champions Olga Harlan (fencing) and Oleg Verniaiev (gymnastics) – 9 and 8 titles respectively.
