The pension Fund of Ukraine for carrying out of modernization of pensions to Ukrainians in October 2016 we need additional 5 billion hryvnia, but in the end this will ensure the recalculation of pensions of 9,7 million pensioners.This was stated by the Chairman of the Board of the Pension Fund of Ukraine Oleksiy Zarudny.
According to him, the Pension Fund since the beginning of the year generated an additional resource to more than 26 billion hryvnias “is, in particular, from the additional earnings of minimum wage and its legalization”.
“In October 2016, to carry out modernization of pensions, to an additional 5 billion hryvnia. But we have all the resource in order to ensure that the recalculation of pensions this year to 9.7 million pensioners. under the modernizing fall nearly 6 million pensioners. The rest of increase of pensions in connection with increase in cost of living. As soon as the law comes into force just a day will be printed in the payment of the additional information and transferred to the post office and banking institutions. Pensioners who 4 number received pensions in the same size, will receive a fee”,– he stressed.
At the same time, the head of the Pension Fund noted that the minimum pension will amount to 1452 of the hryvnia against the former 1312 hryvnia.
“The average pension will increase by almost 700 hryvnia, and will be more than 2,5 thousand hryvnia hryvnia against 1890 Also provides that in 2019 will earn the mechanism of automatic indexation of pensions, and pensioners will be able to receive higher payouts. In 2018, the pension will be appointed with increased wages,” the official added.
In addition, Zarudny said that the payment of pension, pension for years of service will continue.
“Those who now (at the time of adoption of the law) were entitled to these pensions will be able to exercise this right. It is further assumed that all pensions will be appointed under the same law and a unified approach in addition to military personnel, ballet, etc.,” he concluded.
We will remind, at meeting on 3 October, Parliament adopted a pension reform, which envisages the modernization of pensions since October, and raising the minimum insurance period for retirement from 15 to 25 years.
