In New Zealand saved about a hundred pilot whales that beached on the eve on the shore of the Bay and Golden Bay.
The staff of the Department of conservation of New Zealand and the volunteers managed to rescue about a hundred pilot whales that beached the eve in the shore of the Bay in Golden Bay, new Zealand South island.
Regional Director of Department of conservation Andrew Lamason told that the operation animal rescue is successful, although not without difficulties. According to him, the mammals of the night again tried to jump out of the water, but due to the influx and improving weather conditions, the volunteers managed to return the injured whales in the sea.
“We hope that the new pack of whales would lead them into the depths. But still there is a possibility that some of the animals will try to return,” said E. Lamason.
